Dewel Books (“Dewel,” “we,” “us”) is a service of Dewel Network LLC, a California company. This policy explains what information we collect when you use dewelbooks.com and how we handle it.

Information we collect

• Account information. When you create an account we store your email address and, if you sign in with Google, the basic profile information Google shares. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider; we never see or store them.
• Activity you create. Items you save, your listening progress, and your purchases, so we can show your Library and let you resume where you left off.
• Payment information. Purchases are processed by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and are never stored on our servers; we keep only a record that a purchase occurred and its amount.
• Technical data. Standard information such as your device and browser type, needed to deliver and secure the service.

How we use your information

• To provide the service — playback, your Library, and access to purchased content.
• To process purchases and prevent fraud.
• To maintain, secure, and improve the product.
• To contact you about your account or purchases when necessary.

We do not sell your personal information.

Service providers

We rely on trusted providers to run Dewel Books: Supabase (accounts, database, and file storage), Stripe (payments), Vercel (hosting), and Google (only if you choose Google sign-in). These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy terms.

Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. We don’t use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

Your choices and rights

You can view and manage your saved items, progress, and purchases while signed in. You may request access to or deletion of your account data by emailing us at support@dewelnetwork.com.

Children

Dewel Books is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above.
